TYL PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE
▶ VARIABLE ASSIGNMENT
Declare and Assign Scalar Variables
Declare numa variable:
numa
Assign the value 21, to numa:
numa 21
Consider this piece of code:
numa
print numa
numa 21
print numa
NULL
21
In the first line, numa is declared as scalar variable. numa has no value declared, therefore its value is NULL. In programming languages, the term 'null' denotes 'No Value'. Line numa 21, is an assignment line, numa will get the value 21.

Declaration and assignment can be done in one line:
numb 22
numb was declared and assigned the value 21.
